Marketing Executive

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, a Marketing Executive will have the following responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing & measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Researching, planning, organising and managing third party and company events
  • Managing internal campaigns and raising awareness of activity, customer wins and relevant news stories
  • Liaising with agencies to help formulate, pitch and create a wide range of sales and marketing collateral
  • Review and manage LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube social media channels. Create plan to optimise performance of social media and usage across the business and measure the effectiveness of each channel vs spend and activity
  • Assisting with managing company website, creating and uploading content and optimising for search
  • Helping manage sales and marketing CRM programmes (Salesforce and HubSpot)
  • Assisting in managing data compliance within CRM across the business
  • Work with third parties to commission relevant content
  • Review and analyse data from various sources
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of marketing documents and processes


Skills and Attributes

  • Experience of marketing exec or digital marketing role at a software business
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Creative individual who has experience of taking ideas and turning them into projects and campaigns that deliver ROI
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work to pre-defined budgets and short time-scales
  • Experience of using HubSpot
  • Experience of writing sector specific content for different audiences
  • Experience of creating content for social media channels and ideally who has experience of paid campaigns with LinkedIn
  • IT literate across multiple platforms (PPT, Excel, Adobe, Word, Google Drive) as well as third party apps such as Salesforce
  • Someone that enjoys working in marketing and wants to make a difference to where they work
